| Notes: | John served on the board of directors of St John's Cemetery on the Humber for many years. His last position
was registrar where he looked after the familiy tree. We use the family tree to quickly determine eligibility for
burial in the cemetery. Maintaining the tree required scores of phone calls and letters to family
members. In the very early days of personal computers (1970's & 1980's), he wrote software to manage the
family tree data. He also produced family group charts that were shipped to many family members.
